Bibb Engineers is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a short-term contract position in our professional services firm. 

 

As a Mechanical Engineer on the Bibb team, you will plan and conduct detailed mechanical design of the various equipment and systems in power and industrial plants to include boilers, turbines, pressure vessels, tanks, pumps, cooling towers, piping systems, and other mechanical equipment.  You will perform calculations for the sizing and selection of mechanical equipment and piping systems. You will work with many other disciplines in a combined team to build the complete power and industrial plants. You should be knowledgeable in the current design codes and standards. 

 

We encourage candidates with the following qualifications to apply; 

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil/Structural engineering

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience required

• Living in the Kansas City area.
